Only God can set you free
You have heard the word recovery in reference to drug and alcohol addiction, but it refers to much more. Everyone has a hurt, hang-up or habit and many are suffering from the effects of these and may not realize it. If you are unhappy, feel a void or feel lost, the Center may be able to help you discover your issue and, in essence, change your life by addressing the hang-up it has caused.
Some examples of issues other than chemical addiction might be: Anger, Lying, Lust, Enabling, Compulsive shopping…the list is endless and each condition secretly debilitating.
Breaking Free goes beyond therapy and your average 12-Step group and focuses on how Jesus Christ can not only help heal such diseases of the soul, but is the cornerstone of that healing. AA speaks of a Higher Power, but Breaking Free Recovery reminds Christians that their Higher Power is Jesus Christ.
If you aren’t sure you need recovery, you can find out by trying the program. The program is led by Robert Rozsay, an Elder in the Reformed Church of Bushkill, and a Board-Certified Biblical Counselor with 25 years of counseling experience in addictive behavior and chemical dependency, and your personal discussions will be held in confidence.
